...I just don't understand the storks, why they built their nest in such a place - a branching of a tree passes through the middle of the nest. The chicks have few places to train.

The old nest collapsed after the 2017 breeding season and the new (artificial) nest was build by Urmas in the same tree (see photos and description in the article)

the nest in other camera view (14.07.2020) - it is big enough no one had problems with the training in the past
