WABA, hatched 2022, streamed nest in Karula NP

Morning 29.10. Waba continued south around the coast to the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where storklet decided to fly across the Gulf of Suez over the Shadwan Island.

- EGYPT: to the west from the city El Qoseir (a city in eastern Egypt, located on the Red Sea coast), Red Sea Governnorate
(above the Eastern Desert)

Waba crossed the Gulf of Suez . It seems our juvenile stork flies to Ethiopia - we will see, fingers crossed!

- SUDAN: Merowe Dam - Northern State

Waba flew further south through Egypt and Sudan.

Waba continued south through the territory of Egypt. The night of 30.10. on 31.10. spent in the mountains of the Al Shalateen desert, in the governorate Al-Bahr al-Ahmar, located between the Nile River and the Red Sea.

31.10. Waba continued further south and rested for the night in a small mountain in Sudan, north of the city of Abu Hamad.
