I missed this moment - I'm very glad that you don't :D

but it seems not better with his right wing :-(

I looked up in my notes how long Karl II lasted to incubate when Kaia left her eggs in their first season together - it was 4 days ! (remember, they can fly for days without eating or drinking on their migration)

fingers crossed very, very much!

There are numerous reasons: heat so panting (not this reason here), something causing an obstruction (e.g. like a fish hook), illness or building up to eject a pellet, ...

maybe it's stuffy (according to the weather forecast, rain is likely)

Thanks Marika for the clarification. The poor is quite restless, hopefully he will calm down.

it can be their nesting area:

for him it must be exhausting wing flapping to this high

edit
there is very nice VIDEO (most probably this area) https://www.lecronachelucane.it/2020/08 ... ogna-nera/

Wow, beautiful area. But those rock cliffs are really high. So I'm not surprised that the male doesn't fly to the nest so often. It must be very strenuous for the injured wing.

Thanks to Marika for the pictures and links :) .
