Employees of Park prirode Lonjsko polje , after the report about finding a young black stork that cannot fly, with the help and joint cooperation with the employees of the Public Nature Protection Institution of Sisack Moslavac County, took the stork to a strictly protected rehabilitation center the types of AWAP in Zagreb.
With expert care in the rehabilitation center, we believe that this young black stork will embark on the journey to Africa with her flock and we wish her a safe journey and good air currents.

Bocian czarny vs rybołowy w Barlinku / Black stork vs osprey in Barlinek



Bocian znalazł się tu dziś raczej zupełnie przypadkowo. Jednak widać silną reakcję obronną rybołowów na widok intruza w bezpośredniej odległości od gniazda.

The stork came here quite by accident today. However, you can see a strong defensive reaction of ospreys to the sight of an intruder in the immediate vicinity of the nest.

Bocian Czaruś/ Stork Czaruś

A black stork came to us with a wing injury. He was named Czaruś. His wing was swollen, and there was fluid inside it that had been removed. After visiting the vet, he was given antibiotics and a padded wing. In a few days we will see if the injury is repairable and the bird promises to return to nature.

We have a black stork! Young individual but very, very weak with a slight wing injury. Hopefully she will be fine and get her strength back
