16:58:0 WTE is back - landed on the same "starting branch", than to the nest and we are observing some nest restoration.

- 1st chick: 76 days old - VX7911 + lokalizator nożny / legtransmitter MAIDEN FLIGHT on 19.07 - 71 days old
- 2nd chick: 76 days old - VX7912 + lokalizator nożny /legtransmitter
- 3rd chick: 73 days old - VX7910 + 1FT4 (readable white colour-ring) MAIDEN FLIGHT on 19.07 - 70 days old
- The chicks become capable of flight at the age of 68–72 days (maiden flight). Starting a flight depend on more factors.
- Młode uzyskują zdolność do lotu w wieku 68–72 dni (pierwszy lot). Rozpoczęcie lotów zależy od większej liczby czynników.
- Przed ostatecznym odlotem na migrację młode bociany początkowo latają średnio na odległość do 200 metrów, a wraz z wiekiem dystans ten zwiększa się średnio do 500 metrów.
- Before their definitive departure for migration, the fledglings initially fly within an average distance of up to 200 meters, and as they get older, this distance increases to an average of up to 500 meters.
Age at permanent departure / Wiek w momencie ostatecznego odlotu (na zawsze):
• Average: 87 days / Średnia: 87 dni
• Range: 73 to 108 days / Przedział: od 73 do 108 dni

- Lepsze wyniki w przeżywalności osiągają te pisklęta, które po opuszczeniu gniazda spędzają w nim więcej czasu – oznacza to, że wracają do gniazda i stopniowo się usamodzielniają, ale wciąż są w nim karmione przez rodziców. Przez kolejne 2–4 tygodnie po uzyskaniu zdolności do lotu wracają do gniazda na noc lub odpoczywają w nim w ciągu dnia.
- Better results are in surviving of the chicks which spend longer time in nest after fledging, means they return to the nest and step by step get independent, but are still getting food from parents in nest. For another 2-4 weeks after being able to fly they will go to the nest at night or rest at the nest.

probably the young ones that may already be feeding there but are afraid to return to the nest because of the white-tailed eagle.

nie mam przez dwa dni dostępu do panelu bo siedzę w krzakach ale to nie są loggery tylko obrączki elektroniczne więc dopiero jak będą w pobliżu Ca 200 m od jakiegoś telefonu to się dowiemyhand-pink-waving
I don't have access to the panel for two days because I'm in the bushes, but these aren't loggers, they're electronic rings, so we'll only find out when they're around, about 200 meters from a phone.
