- 1st chick: 35 days old (hatched on 14.06)

EGGS
unhatched (laid on 13.05 at 22:22 and 16.05 at 02:05)

Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.

02:20 – Chick stood up, flapped wings, and moved around the nest.

05:25 – Chick observed sitting; crop appeared filled.

09:12:44 – Chick picked up an unhatched egg with its bill and moved it to the edge of the nest structure, then repeated this with the second egg.

10:37 – 10:40 – Adult male Kergu arrived at the nest and delivered one large fish. Departed at 10:40.

11:22 – Butterfly observed visiting the nest area.

11:47:30 – Chick resting with head lowered, falling asleep.

14:47 – 14:48 – Adult male Kergu arrived and delivered food (fish). Departed at 14:48.

15:15:35 – Chick resting after feeding.

19:58 – Chick resting, fast asleep.
