CHICKS
- 1st chick: 75 days old today (hatched 04.05)
- 2nd chick: 74 days old today (hatched 05.05)
- 3rd chick: 72 days old today (hatched 07.05), MAIDEN FLIGHT 17.07 at 07:14:34 (71) days old)
Egg 4: Laid 07 April - unhatched
Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.
Maiden flight (general data):
- Chicks become capable of flight at the age of 68–72 days.
- Fledging depends on several environmental factors.
- Chicks that stay longer in the nest after fledging have higher survival rates.

- 2025: 69 days old (accidental flight)
- 2024: 69 days old (forced by attack)

- 09:03:03 the second storklet lands and OMG what is this? sibling = stranger?! The chick in the nest grabbed its landing sibling by the leg (repeatedly).

07:03:46 – Chick #3 (youngest, made its first flight on July 16) departs for its first flight of the day.
07:38:14 – Chick #2 makes its maiden flight.
07:39:38 – Chick #1 (eldest) makes its maiden flight.
07:52:10 – 08:55 [Activity Around the Nest] – The fledglings remain in the immediate vicinity, utilizing the surrounding environment:
07:52:10 – Audible wing flapping nearby indicates a stork chick attempting to land on or near the camera structure.
07:55 – A stork chick is observed flying past the left side of the nest.
07:57:20 – Chick #3 returns briefly, landing successfully before departing again at 08:00.
08:25:10 – Chick #3 returns to the nest and departs again at 08:28:42.
