CHICKS
- 1st chick: 61 days old,
- 2nd chick: 60 days old,
- 3rd chick: 58 days old
Egg 4: Laid 07 April - unhatched
Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.

1/ 09:24:01 - 09:24:13 – Feeding by the male parent (Natalio).
- The first feeding of the day, arriving nearly 24 hours after his last delivery. He brought a fish, which immediately prompted the chicks to search the nest bowl for any dropped leftovers.
2/ 10:05:07 – 10:05:12 – Feeding by the female parent (Zica).
3/ 12:23:17 - 12:23:37 – Feeding by the male parent (Natalio).
4/ 13:37:07 – 13:37:19 – Feeding by the female parent (Zica).
13:25 – The chicks are resting and sleeping during the hottest part of the day.
5/ 16:52:29 – 16:52:29 – Feeding by the female parent (Zica).
6/ 19:04:43 - 19:04:54 – Feeding by the male parent (Natalio).
- The male regurgitated a snake, causing a tug-of-war between the youngsters. Chick chick no. 2 successfully won and swallowed it.
19:17 – 19:18 – One of the young storks closely inspected and tested the camera from up close.
20:06 – 20:14 – A chick stood right in front of the lens, breathing heavily due to the lingering heat, and reached the camera with its bill.
- 20:30:20 There must have been some danger in the sky (a bird of prey?). The youngsters are watching carefully, but also with fear.
marika.solo: to me nothing unusually in their behaviour
- 21:10 – Another close-up encounter with a bill directly in the camera.

General note:
A total of 6 successful feedings were recorded today – perfectly balanced with 3 from Natalio and 3 from Zica, which is an excellent result given the 41°C heat.
