9:43 PM @helgipall8650 (Estonian): Time has value
1:03 AM @helgipall8650 (Estonian): Where is the partner?
3:21 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): To Helgi. The previous night Kergu was on the nest. When Kerli arrived at 11:40 during the day, Kergu went off to explore and feed. He returned at 16:40 (minutes here and there, I always round up, it's easier to keep track). Kerli left and came back at 21:38.
3:29 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): Kergu left at 21:38 and apparently stayed the night on a branch, out of camera view. Right now Kerli is still on the nest (4:25). Kergu's night was on a branch somewhere. When the chicks arrive, the male storks will start spending the nights on the branches anyway. Shifts during the day.
6:27 AM @helgipall8650 (Estonian): Thanks hommik for the info
Day 2
2:50 PM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 15:35 Kerli arrived, Kergu left
7:23 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): 16:11 Cool - Kergu is showering Kerli with clumps of moss.
7:32 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): 16:20 Awesome frame - Kerli with a moss belt
10:13 PM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 21:47 Kergu arrived, 23:12 both are on the nest
10:18 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): To ellm! I just wanted to say the same, and Kergu took over the nest, Kerli is standing. Looks like both are spending the night on the nest today. This is very nice and sets the mind at ease - everyone is home.
11:05 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): 23:47 shift change and now Kerli is lying down.
Day 3
12:43 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): 00:41 shift change and Kergu is lying down.
2:43 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): 3:37 another shift change. Now it's Kerli's turn to lie down again. Kergu probably wanted to stretch...
2:44 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): St [Correction] 3:37
4:00 AM @hommik72 (Estonian): Kergu already left at 4:26 for a round to bring twigs and clumps of moss.
10:42 AM @helgipall8650 (Estonian): Waiting is a test of patience
10:44 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): Looks like Kergu is spending the night on a branch, but maybe he will plop down and want to lie down himself
Day 4
11:36 AM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 12:02, Kergu is on the nest
11:42 AM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 8:38 Kergu arrived, 8:39 Kerli flew up into the tree, 8:47 ... and left
12:08 PM @helgipall8650 (Estonian): The eggs can't even be seen from amidst the moss anymore
1:57 PM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 14:48 the stream picture is back, Kergu is on the nest
3:05 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): To ellm. Yesterday Kerli wandered around for 11 hours. I actually started to worry, she tends to pull tricks. Kergu left immediately, showing absolutely no joy about Kerli's arrival.
5:47 PM @ellm7454 (Estonian): 18:28 Kerli came, Kergu left
6:50 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): To ellm. Kerli was away for over ten hours again. No wonder Kergu is offended/upset, same as yesterday. Of course Kergu is offended and didn't even come to the nest for the night.
8:48 PM @ellm7454 (Estonian): @hommik72 21:42 Kergu came home
10:08 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): Upon arrival, Kergu seemed to want to get on the nest himself, but Kerli pushed her way in.
10:11 PM @hommik72 (Estonian): Some days Kergu went to feed right away in the morning, as if knowing that if Kerli goes..., she disappears for the whole day.
