Hello everyone :-)

Today, UKU has again visited the Karula black stork nest, where the birds are hatching. He did not enter the nest, but he was near the nest for a long time. That's why the webcam birds were anxious again.

Uku's own nest was checked from a distance with a drone yesterday and he does not have a mate yet. This nest was previously unknown to us and is located in a nature reserve. We got the location of the nest from Uku's GPS data.

The pair in the V. nest is also incubating eggs, and they have 4 eggs.

MATS has not found a mate yet. According to GPS data, he regularly visits 4 different nests.

UKU also does not have a mate yet and flies around a large area. Lately, he has been mostly in Latvia.

TRAUMA. The stork named Trauma stopped visiting the Vennisaare nest and flew to Russia, near Petseri. Trauma stayed in that area last year too. But now she has moved even further south. According to GPS data, she seems to visit a nest regularly. This location is in Belarus, near the Latvian-Lithuanian border.

The breeding season for Kergu and Kerli this year could be difficult because they started late.

Four black stork nests have trail cameras that send images, but the birds have not settled in them.
A bird without a ring visited one of these nests two times. The camera photographed the bird, but it did not return.
One single bird stayed in a nest near the Estonian-Russian border for a long time. This bird is no longer seen on the camera.
