Natalio regurgitated the food in three separate portions. The meal consisted of a variety of small and larger fish, as well as some frog The youngest chick spotted the first portion immediately and was facing the right direction, but was physically blocked by its two larger, stronger siblings. The food was out of its reach, and the older chicks managed to consume it before Benjamin could get to it.
Small fish, which would have been ideal for the smallest one, were unfortunately on the opposite side of the nest.
During the third portion, Benjamin managed to swallow one large fish and at least one frog, most probably along with several other bites.
Even though it had a difficult start, little one now has a visibly full crop too!
