08. 17 Kaia arrives with a piece of wet straw. Bonus reacts strongly this time. Kaia also brough water and gives a shower to the storklets.

[Madli]

Kaia goes on the curved branch. Bonus is chirping. The others are silently twittering.


08.24 Kaia flies away. Bonus clatters bill towards her.

[Madli]

08.32 Kaia brings more straw. She puts it aside and steps on the curved branch. She arrived so silently and unnoticed that Bonus didn't have time to strongly react.




As soon as Kaia arrives, Bonus starts chirping. Kaia seems to take it neutrally..

08.55 Bonus seems a little bit more relaxed. Still chirping, but at least lying down in a more comfortable position.

[Madli]

09.00 Kaia turns around and steps down to the kids. They are all chirping and twittering now, grabing Kaia's bill and waiting for something good
Kaia goes back to the curved branch.
The chicks are active now.






09.03 Kaia flies away.

09.10 The stream is interrupted

Another hot day. At least I see some breeze blowing through their feathers.
