Black storks on white stork nests

Season 2025:
Both ringed black storks nested in the Central Bohemian Region. By coincidence, only 2 km apart.

2025-06-03 | 66T0 | U | +1K | Nest - pad on a tree, (Dubenec), Central Bohemian Region and Prague | CZ17 | Czechia | 61 km | ... (GPS coordinates)

U = unknown age
+ 1K = more than 1 calendar year old
km = the distance in km indicates how far from their hatching site these storks were recorded

I assume they are both males, as they usually nest within a few dozen kilometres of where they hatched.

I think I will finish documentation of this nest, this is so time consuming
Too bad we can't speak stork language to tell the white stork couple, that as long as BS' are around, they will not be able to have their offspring here

It seems to me this white stork couple is very inexperienced (not only with black storks ). This situation is really bad for this couple
(and for "our" black stork as well).
