- Krum spent the day in the marshy area along the Tekirska River, on the northern edge of the Chirpan Reservoir. At 09:00, he took off for a short flight to the northwest, then turned back immediately. He spent the night in the same place where he had spent most of the previous nights.

- Krum strávil deň v močaristom teréne pozdĺž rieky Tekirska na severnom okraji rezervoáru Chirpan. O deviatej odletel na krátky let smerom na SZ a ihneď sa otočil aj späť. Nocoval na tom istom mieste, kde aj väčšinu predchádzajúcich nocí.

Krum spent the day in the fields near the Chirpan Reservoir, where he had also spent the previous two nights at the northern, shallow marshy end, where the Tekirkska river flows into the reservoir.
Around at 14:50 h, he moved approximately 7 km north to the protected oak forest Chirpanska Koria, where he had already spent the night from 18 to 19 January.

Krum strávil deň na poliach pri rezervoári Chirpan, kde aj nocoval predchádzajúce 2 noci na severnom bažinatom konci, kde rieka Tekirska sa vlieva do rezervoáru.
Okolo 14:50 odletel približne 7 km na sever do chráneného dubového lesa Chirpanska Koria, kde už nocoval z 18. na 19.01.

- Yesterday (22.01) it snowed in the area (wet snow). Krum left his roost in the protected oak forest only later in the morning. He spent the day at his favorite spot on the northern edge of the Chirpan reservoir. It is a marshy area through which the Tekirska stream flows. He went back to the oak forest to roost for the night.
- Včera (22.01.) v oblasti snežilo (mokrý sneh). Krum z nocoviska v chránenom dubovom lese odletel až neskôr ráno. Deň strávil na svojom obľúbenom na severnom okraji rezervoáru Chirpan. Je to močaristé miesto, ktorým preteká riečka Tekirska. Nocovať sa vybral opäť do dubového lesa.
