the autumn birdmap starts with data from August 15
The spring/summer migration stops in mid-August and the autumn/winter migration continues from the following day, the 15th = the bird map is set for autumn/winter migration and the new distance measurement starts from 15.08. However, the birdmap is sometimes ready a week or two later.

in this thread we follow adult male named NURME from Rapla County in west-central Estonia (we follow Nurme's 5th autumn-winter migration with trasmitter)

Of Nurme's three chicks, two are still in the nest. Nurme moves around near the county border where drainage ditches are being reconstructed, and also visits the feeding site near the nest.

Nurme is still feeding the chicks and is in no hurry to migrate. In the drone picture, two of the three ringed chicks were still at the nest two weeks ago. The fate of the third one is still unknown
