Skierka wczoraj po 119 dniach definitywnie skończyła sezon i rozpoczęła migrację na zimowisko.
Skierka yesterday after 119 days definitely finished the season and started migration to her wintering area.

Skierka właśnie leci na południe i wczoraj dotarła na granicę czesko-słowacką. Pokonała w dwa dni prawie 450 km. Po drodze spała w Stobrawskim_Parku_Krajobrazowym i na Morawach_Wschodnich niedaleko Zlina.
Skierka is already flying south and yesterday reached the Czech-Slovak border. She covered nearly 450 km in two days. Along the way, she spent the night in Stobrawa Landscape Park and in Eastern Moravia near Zlín (Slovakia).

Skierka jak zwykle podczas migracji jesiennej zatrzymuje się na dłużej w Serbii w zakolach rzeki Wielka_Morawa. W 2023 roku spędziła tam aż 52 dni i dopiero wtedy doleciała do zimowiska nad rzeką Struma w N Grecji. Zobaczymy jak będzie w tym roku, ale przed odlotem samica miała dużo czasu na regenerację sił po sezonie, który zakończyła 7 lipca. Dziś, niemal po MIESIĄCU, nadal w gnieździe przebywa jeszcze jeden młody, który osiągnął 80 dzień życia. To czas na opuszczenie gniazda. Można go jeszcze zobaczyć na żywo tutaj: i … życzyć mu szczęśliwego nowego samodzielnego życia.
Skierka, as usual during the autumn migration, is making a longer stop in Serbia, in the bends of the Great_Morava River. In 2023, she spent as many as 52 days there before finally flying to her wintering grounds by the Struma River in northern Greece. We’ll see how it goes this year, but before departure, the female had plenty of time to regain her strength after the season, which she finished on July 7. - Today, nearly a MONTH later, there is still one young bird in the nest, who has reached 80 days of age.
