Hello everyone

hatching: 29.04 - 1st chick /7 days old (hatched after 33 days)
laying: 2nd egg - 29.03/38 days + 3rd egg - 03.04 (!) /33 days


hatching: after 30 - 38 days depending on the conditions - baby bird chirps from inside the egg usually on the last 2 days

- 07.08.50 - care of the eggs and the nest - 07.14.48 (storklet is awake, and is asking for food - Zica interrupts care here and there)

- 07.52.09 - care of the eggs and the nest - 08.02.10 (first immediately preening to 07.53.42 + "feeding" at 07.59)

little chick repeatedly tries to grab Zica's leg in its bill from one side or the other

maybe Zica regurgitated something (pellet? - chick is eating, Zica stands with her back to the camera) and she throws these remains into the water)

- 08.26.46 first time I am noticing very short attempt to preening the little one (and Zica continues digging/aerating the nest bowl)
