W królestwie Skierki i Królewicza od dziś w gnieździe na starym dębie aż PIĘĆ jaj! To bardzo rzadki przypadek, ponieważ zwykle bociany czarne składają 3-4 jaja i czasami nawet redukują liczbę piskląt. Jednak to gniazdo znajduje się na terenie obszaru Obszaru Natura_ 2000 Jeziora Pszczewskie i Dolina Obry. To doskonałe miejsce dla życia tego gatunku rzadkiego ptaka, którego liczebność w Polsce ocenia się zaledwie na 1400 par. Nasza wspaniała para bocianów wychowała już tutaj w ubiegłym roku szczęśliwie piątkę młodych, więc - jeśli nie wydarzy się nic złego - jest szansa na powtórkę. Niestety postępujące susze klimatyczna i hydrologiczna nie sprzyjają zachowaniu populacji tego wrażliwego gatunku, który w niektórych regonach naszego kraju staje się coraz rzadszy. In the kingdom of Skierka and the Prince, as of today, there are as many as FIVE eggs in the nest on an old oak tree! This is a very rare case, because black storks usually lay 3-4 eggs and sometimes even reduce the number of chicks. However, this nest is located in the Natura_2000 Area Pszczewskie Lakes and the Obra Valley. It is a perfect place for this species of rare bird, whose population in Poland is estimated at only 1,400 pairs. Our wonderful pair of storks successfully raised five young here last year, so - if nothing bad happens - there is a chance for a repeat. Unfortunately, the ongoing climatic and hydrological droughts are not conducive to preserving the population of this sensitive species, which is becoming increasingly rare in some regions of our country. Congratulations and we keep our fingers crossed.
