Hello to all!
Thank you Marika for starting a new season in the forum!

And thank you bozena Isia for the first video of the season!
I would like to add some information that I have received from Kotkaklubi member and my good trustworthy friend Raivo, who is deeply associated with all black storks in Pärnu county.
1. The first thing we saw when livestream started was that Kergu's nest was already decorated with fresh evergreen branches. This was done by a Common buzzard (
Buteo buteo). We are also activly hearing this bird which means that he has "claimed" this nest and is not far.
So far we have never seen from any Black stork camera this kind of situation. It will be interesting to follow next events. How do both buzzard and stork react to such situation? The buzzard probably won't give up that easily...
2. We can hear some backround noise. This comes from the
deforestation in order to continue the
Rail Baltic project.
Why do this now while birds are beginning to breed and nest? It is clear that business interests overweigh nature conservation...
