Dramia is a Village in Georgioupoli (resort village and former municipality) in Chania regional unit in the Crete Region of Greece. (Dramia is also a Beach.)

DISCOVERING CRETE on 26. - 27.10

26.10: BLUE spent the time in the area the river Mouselas the whole day, for night resting flew not far to the southern area

27.10: at noon, BLUE made a round trip to the previous area to the west, then flew northeast back to the Mouselas River and continued south along the river (stork spent the night south again as the night before)

Can we say now that Blue found his wintering place? And lazy Green must be the last stork leaving Europe

Hi Madli,
very likely Crete will be/is the first wintering destination for our Blue
and Green? - it is still open question (I'm going to find out if they saw black storks there in the winter and if they successfully wintered)
btw. yesterday the stork made a relatively long almost round trip (but towards the west)

GREEN: moved to the west (north-west from Aljmaš, Croatia)
BLUE: in the area (NW Crete, Greece - near Dramia) - (next data session in midday - I am out)

GREEN made a relatively large almost round trip (but towards the west), and stayed on the confluence the river Drave with Danube - NW from Aljmaš, village in the Erdut municipality in eastern Croatia. Aljmaš lies on the right bank of the Danube. wiki

this place is in the area Kopački Rit Nature Park

GREEN: moved from the Drava-Danube confluence area to the east (Aljmaš, Croatia)
BLUE: last location NW Crete, Greece - near Dramia on 28.10 at 10.00 UTC (next data session in midday)
ORANGE: still no new data
