It is now also starting to rain. You can hear thunder occasionally.

17.06 Kaia doesn't cover the chicks while it's raining. The temperatures are not cold. Kaia herself is quite wet already.


17.32 Now Kaia is in the "Mombrella" mode. The rain is heavier.
17.48 She covers the chicks.

18.25 The rain is getting lighter, Kaia uncovers the chicks again.

18.37 The chicks are a little wet, Kaia moves closer to them to stand over them.


18.45 KARL arrives, Kaia leaves immediately.
Kaia's nest duty was 2 h 43 min.

18.46 FEEDING (7) Huge amount of different sized fish! All eat very good! #3 manages to swallow a bigger fish plus more smaller items. #1 and #2 are stuffed to the throat again!

19.00 Karl is protecting the kids from the rain.


19.04 Karl covers the chicks for a while.

20.03 Evening cleaning routines. Karl takes a good care of his kids.


20.05 Karl sneezes and this black stuff comes out from his nostril


20.09 Karl shakes his head and the black piece falls off. Karl throws it out from the nest.

21.21 FEEDING (8) Karl regurgitates a big fish. #3 is the first one to grab it and swallow a big half of the soft fish. It seems that #1 is not interested in food at all, #2 pecks something, and attempts to eat the other half of the fish, but drops it a few times and eventually Karl eats it.

21.32 Karl warms the kids after feeding. His foot is showing on the right


The chicks are pushing out from the side


Karl needs to adjust his position, the chicks are chirping under him. It must be already uncomfortable for both of them, Karl and the chicks i mean..

22.03 The camera swithched to night vision.


The rest of the evening will (probably) be calm, and the chicks have settled themselves for the night sleep.
