Sometime in the week, strange dates began to leave from our Cretan stork's transmitter. It didn't seem to be flying and moving only on a small area. So he could be in big trouble .. And so we used the power of IG helpers, in the end actually helpers (Marika - females)
. After a short communication, they went to the last place of the GPS localization and they found the stork by a stream. Fortunately, he looked fine and flew away. I would very much like to thank them (they prefer not to label them) for a great, fast and certainly demanding job !! In case of emergency, they could catch and save the stork.

BLUE flew along the river to the north and at 9.45 continued to the west and then changed its direction to the south, to the Lake Kournas
stork turned back and flew to one new area - new stream, respectively wet area (marshland?)

GREEN - NW Serbia
BLUE - N Crete, Greece
ORANGE - Spain (?)
situation on the Anitra map today morning
GREEN stayed in the area (west from Bogojevo Odžaci municipality, West Bačka District, Serbia) - stork moved back to the previous area to the east
BLUE stayed in the northern area (Crete, Greece) - we will see his moving on 24.10. after next update
ORANGE - still no new data

OVERVIEW
Green arrived to this area on Sep 11. All the time stork is moving in the Gornje Podunavlje Special Nature Reserve. It is a large protected area of wetland in the northwest of Serbia, on the Danube's left bank. It comprises two large marshes, Monoštorski Rit and Apatinski Rit and vast forests, meadows, ponds, swamps and the Danube's meanders, including 66 km of the Danube course. (wiki)

Green moved on Oct 24 back to its previous area (to the east)
- stork is near the Donji Prut insel, in one of its favourite areas there (west from Bogojevo)
