10.18 That's a looong yawn. What is taking Kaia so long today??

12.12 Karl looks around and up into the sky. Is someone coming?


13.18 Karl is still in the nest, no change since 19.25 yesterday evening..

13.31 Ravens are making noise, but not very close. Karl isn't very bothered about them.

13.59 All eggs are nicely lined up in a row

14.09 Kaia is here! Karl gives her a long greeting /talk and leaves immediately.
Karl's incubation shift was 18 h 44 min.

16.03 The shadows or the lighting seems different today. Half of Kaia in the shadow


18.10 A very lovely evening for Kaia. So calm and quiet..and she looks pretty in the evening light.


But there are some bugs flying around and annoying..

19.52 I noticed that the eggs look quite dirty. Almost greenish..or is it the lighting in the evening?
And 20.27 After the next rolling. Some eggs look whiter, but one egg looks darker and discoloured.

[Madli]

21.30 Karl arrives! Kaia gives him a long and nice greeting. Kaia steps away from the eggs, but Karl goes to the curved branch. After seeing, that Karl will not take the next incubation shift, Kaia steps back to the eggs and begins to roll them. Karl decides to leave that's unusual..


Kaia continues incubation for the night..
