I hope so too. But I don't think that something happened to Nurme. Probably his transmitter just doesn't send as much points as the battery level lowers. And he was at the wrong place at the wrong time with no possibility to send data

Nurme is back

Nurme continued to fly south.

31.07 Nurme stopped near Pietrikau, on Pripyat.
01.08 Nurme continued and is now in UKRAINE. In his first stop-over area same as in 2022

02.08 Nurme flew 25 km E to search for food, but flew back to the previous place.
Huta was Nurme's stop-over area in 2022.

Nurme near Huta


The fortification in Huta is included in the archaeological register, according to which it is a Slavic settlement of the tenth to eleventh centuries. The settlement was discovered in 1873 by Alexander Spitsyn. (https://www.zamky.com.ua/vinnytska-obla ... orodyshhe/)
