Karl incubated the eggs all night, Kaia spent the night on the lower "balcony" branch.
04.11 Kaia jumped into the nest. But Karl doesn't stand up.

04.23 Kaia sits on Karl, now he stands up.

04.24 Karl continues incubation.

04.49 Kaia flies out.
Right before departure.

06.25 Karl is letting some air under the wings

The first rays of sun shine on the nest.

06.52 Kaia brings moss. She pecks the nest bowl and spreads the moss, then sits on the eggs at 06.54.

06.53 Karl flies out. He starts to bring some material.

07.19 Karl brings his last delivery. Now he preens himself.

07.28 Karl flies out. Probably for breakfast.

09.13 Karl is back. He rolls the eggs and continues incubation at 09.17

09.26 Kaia leaves.

09.36 Kaia comes home with a twig. Both storks work nicely.

09.44 Stream stops

10.08 The stream recovered. Karl is alone in the nest.

10.44 I can see a black stork flying in the forest. Same place as Kaia was yesterday to collect some moss. Karl sees it too.

Kaia flies under the nest from right to left.
10.47 She lands in the nest with moss.

10.48 Karl flies out. Kaia continues incubation.
10.49 Kaia on the eggs.

12.39 Karl is home!

12.42 Kaia leaves.

16.22 Kaia arrives home. Karl immediately flies away.
16.23 Kaia rolls the eggs and covers them.

19.10 Karl is back and takes over incubation duty. Kaia moves to the balcony.

20.16 Kaia jumps to the nest. What are they talking about?

He goes in and out a few times..he is already out of breath!

20.30 Karl takes over the incubation again. Looks like this is HIS nighly duty..

20.34 Kaia goes to the balcony for the night.
