Hello everyone

Chicks will be today 80/80 days old
(hatching: 01.05, 01.05, 03.05 - perished 18 days old, 04.05 - died 5 days old: parental infanticide/brood reduction)

on 16.07 the first storklet fledged, on 17.07 the second storklet fledged too (4 / 3 days ago)
on the nest is always now only one storklet - to me the same ("white legs")

the nest is empty

it seems something is not O.K. there - he is waiting on the female or is nearby someone unwanted? - I dont see defending behaviour, only fanned tail feathers

male is still on the nest 12.10 (nothing suspicious in his behaviour all the next time, only sometimes he is observing the surrounding)



or is there something bothering him?

he turned to the chicks and they immediately demanded food again
most probably the previous feeding failed and now too
