After feeding, Karl cleaned and massaged them.

then he devoted himself to the chicks - cleaning them and massaging them.

it was not good to see what they were eating, but number 3 had a small fish

Karl took one fish and went to swallow it back. No. 2 noticed this and reached for the fish and tugged at it with Karl, Karl let go of the fish and No. 2 ate it:
