10.19 Florentino lies down in the nest, Fermina climbs onto his back. We have already seen this kind of behavior in Karula, EE- female Kaia climbed on the male's back and imitated copulation..

I have the impression that we probably see this on the nest in Italy as well
I am curious about the comment of prof. PZ to this (what could be the reason)

Good morning.

It's been slightly snowing/raining all night. Nothing too bad though and it shouldn't bother the storks.

05.45 Fermina is throwing out the snow and digging out moss underneath the snow carpet.

Camera switches back to daylight.

06.57 Florentino flies to the "balcony"
