" ... 2021 was a hard year in Madissaare - even later brood than in Jõgeva and parents migrated a week before the chicks fledged. It was too late already to save the storklets when they were discovered ...This year the male 715F and female with only metal ring returned early. There were 3 chicks in the nest at the beginning of July, but they were underweight for their age. By the time Urmas visited the nest in the beginning of august, there was 2 left. ... "

today additional info by our Madli:
"715F hatched in 2017 in Saaremaa island. Now nesting 120 km away from his birth nest. 2021 was the first time this stork had chicks. Unfortunately it was a very late brood and it was unsuccessful. In 2022 was 715F second time nesting with 3 chicks, of whom 2 survived and one of them is Madi. 715F is 5 years old." (source - our FB group:
