20.08.30 Karl II flew away - we will see him most probably only the next spring
Karl II arrived for good bye visit at 15.49.54 - he stayed 5h 19 min 36 sec (really very long time)

Safe flight to Karl and we will be waiting for him!

Karl is probably still close to the nest - at 20.12 - you can hear the flapping of wings and at 20.32 a branch above the nest moves...

we will see if it was really good bye visit - Karl II stayed for long time, but we don't see the usually behaviour (except PS into the nest)

Heh, now you tell! I already prepared my video of the LAST visit Ok, we will see..

But I have made a nice comparison of how exhausting the breeding season really is for the adults.

Our Karl II in May vs. in August...you can see that time has made some corrections to this stork. Made him definitely wiser and more confident. But also left a mark on his overall body condition.

Kaia was last seen in the nest on 7.august, feeding at 06.05
Bonus was last seen on the nest on 27.august, at 10.08
Voog was last seen on the nest on 27.august, at 10.11
Iks was last seen on the nest on 27.august, at 10.11 (left with Voog)
Waba was last seen on the nest on 28.august at 13.16


Events:
- Karl II arrived back in the morning- most probably the true goodbye visit now.
