The article mentions a Black Stork nicknamed "Satan". He lives near Jaunmuiža and has been bothering White Storks for 4 years. Experts think he was raised in a White Stork nest by mistake (human interference). Now he has an identity crisis – he tries to find a mate among White Storks. He performs black stork mating rituals (whistling), but the White Storks don't understand him and fly away in fear. Sadly, he often destroys their eggs during these conflicts.

- than again white stork pair on the nest, but at 15:12:57 BS is back and pushed them away and 15:13:15 is on the nest
- not the typical calling sound, short calls ... pooped on the nest rim and again chased away the white couple from the neighbouring chimney
... the BS spent the night on the neighbouring chimney

Yesterday, March 23, 2026, there was a very tough fight on the nest during the afternoon. Two residents, one black stork who likely lost its nest, and a white stork intruder were involved. The biggest fight happened around 2:00 PM. For those who could not watch it live, I have a short video (about 10 minutes) with the highlights.
