wings were heard flapping - probably Nile geese (they reacted this way to these - maybe unwanted - neighbours last year too)

- 11.17.19 good/long PS and again he is working with this brought (very shortly)
- Natalio is resting; he stands with his back to the sun, but he is checking the river (looks back again and again)

- approx. at 11.30 long preening (I like observing it)

11.55.32 calling/greeting - 11.56 female ZICA in (male settled down)
11.57.14 male PS, and preening (female is still on the nest rim)

12.00.04 1/ mating - no dancing
male continuos preening (she is observing the river from the nest rim)

12.07 she is shortly clapping with her bill (male is hissing shortly before )

both are resting, male time to time again preens himself (his 3rd eyelid is often visible)



12.30 2/ mating - no dancing (is there the cloacal kiss?)



I need to find time to compare the photos with last year's (I'm not sure if it's the same couple )

self preening aproxx. to 12.38; at 13.00 male started preening Zica;13.02 male and female selfpreening

13.06 4/ mating (again no mating, if cloacal kiss )

at 13.08 male settled down, he moved some moss to his body and is "incubating"

she preened him some seconds

13.31.10-13.31.23 she preened his head and than Zica is preening herself approx. to 13.35

- 13.53.38 female PS (again very, very few ), male up and ps (13.54.04) and preening
- 13.58 female started self preening too

it is cloudy, low pressure is also affecting Zica (maybe) - male still preens himself


- 14.02.58 male Natalio stretches his right leg and wing
- 14.03.19 he again settled down and collected the moss to his body
