- ROMANIA: Hagieni is a village in Mihail Kogălniceanu commune in Ialomița county, Muntenia.
(It is located in the eastern part of the county, in the Ialomița Plain, on the right bank of the Ialomița.)

Kergu flew to the south-west. His newest localisation is near the village (Hagieni, Ialomița) on the circle irrigated fields (center-pivot irrigation).

Hagieni Monastery is located in Mihail Kogalniceanu commune, Ialomita county and was founded in 2001.
In place of the old wooden house from the 17th century, a wall church was built between 1881-1892. It was abandoned after 1975, but since 2001 monastic life has returned to normal.
The Hagieni Monastery is a monastery of monks and does not have holy relics or miracle-working icons.
