Karl brought back big fish - one got stuck in his beak


The fish is already out - a big one

[Madli]

The chicks are so wild- pushing and pulling Karl, he almost loses balance and Bonus gets dangerously close to that steep right edge of the nest

There was a second huge fish! I think K1 ate the first fish from the floor.


K1 and Bonus had a tug-o-war for the first fish. The second fish fell to the floor, K2 or K3 eats it.

Eventually, there is even more smaller and bigger fish. I see that Bonus also gets food.

[Madli]

They are still "fishing" on the nest floor after feeding to find the last morsels..

They see someone arrive again!

12.10 It's Kaia! She has a bit of a rough landing and climbs over the curved branch to get to the nest

She stands and thinks if it's even worth to step further- the chicks are very wild again

There's not much to see but I think that they get most of the fish straight from Kaia's bill. I don't see much falling on the nest floor.

Kaia leaves immediately.

[Madli]

The chicks are still vigorously pecking the nest floor. So something must have fallen there too...
Somebody makes a funny sound several times- sneezes or hiccups..
