Gita is a village in southern Bulgaria, in Chirpan Municipality, Stara Zagora Province.
The village of Gita is located approximately 13 km east of Chirpan, 38 km south-west of the provincial capital, Stara Zagora, and 209 km south-east of the national capital, Sofia.
The village lies in the Upper Thracian Plain, at an altitude of approximately 180–200 metres above sea level. The Chirpan Heights rise to the north, with Sarnena Sredna Gora further north, forming the easternmost part of the Sredna Gora mountain range. The Maritsa River flows approximately 6 km south of the village.
The village has a population of approximately 760 inhabitants.
The landscape consists of gently undulating and flat areas, crossed by two rivers: the Stara Reka (also known locally as the Arka), which flows west of the village, and the Merichlerska Reka (also known locally as the Kanata), which runs along its eastern edge. Both rivers are left tributaries of the Maritsa River.
The climate is temperate continental, characterised by relatively mild winters and hot summers.
The village has good infrastructure: the roads are in good condition and the streets are paved. It is connected to the electricity and water supply networks and has mobile phone coverage. Regular bus services connect the village with neighbouring settlements.
The village is situated close to the intersection of two motorways of international importance: the Trakia Motorway (Sofia–Burgas) and the Maritsa Motorway (Sofia–Svilengrad). Investment in their construction is one of the key factors supporting the future economic development of Chirpan Municipality and, consequently, the village of Gita.
The village has a shop, a primary school (Vasil Levski Primary School) and a fully renovated health centre. Medical care is provided by a general practitioner. The nearest hospital and kindergarten are located in the town of Chirpan.

These consist of fragments of broken flat marble slabs of various sizes.
