JUNE 25
A rescue with a happy ending!
Officers from the Nature Protection Service of the Civil Guard (SEPRONA) rescued this vulture. The bird was trapped in the water at the Alcántara quarry. This happened yesterday in one of the natural swimming areas in our region, the Alcántara Quarry.
Thanks to the quick action of the officers, the bird was brought to safety and later released.
This story with a happy ending gives us these memorable images.
the area seems to be very dry

and when everything is green
