youtube chat info - big thx again and again to @СветланаКлюева-н6у :D
English translation only from now on – assisted by Gemini

• 10:22 – Feeding.
• 10:22:16 – The female arrived. Feeding, but it is not clear what she brought. The bonus chick lay down on the bottom of the nest and the oldest sibling stepped with its foot directly on its beak. It managed to free its head exactly at the moment when the female dropped the food. It probably did not get anything.
• 10:22:36 – The female flew away.

• 10:22:19 – 10:22:22 – It is clearly visible on screenshots how the oldest sibling holds the head and pins down the beak of the bonus chick with its foot.
• 11:33 – All chicks started calling together in a friendly manner. Is a parent somewhere nearby?
• 11:55 – A very small dropping from the bonus chick, just a single drop.
• 11:55 – The little one is not feeding well. Hopefully, the parents know where the fish baskets are.
• 12:18:30 – Ravens calling.
• 12:31:43 – A shadow passes by the nest, threat calls from the chicks.

• Surprisingly, both the chicks and the parents are tolerant of the foster chick, and it has already become accustomed to the other chicks. The main thing now is that it stops being afraid of the parents.
• It has been 22 hours and 40 minutes since the male last brought food/fed. This is concerning.
• It is hot outside, around 26–27°C. We need wet fish.
• Something is happening – the chicks are all looking in one direction.
• 12:41 – The chicks are having a "conference".
• If the male has really not been to the nest for 24 hours, it is time to start worrying about him.

• 14:42 – Strange voices/sounds can be heard.
• 14:45 – Feeding.
• 14:45:12 – The begging dance begins, even little Bonus 2 begs and eats. It is no longer afraid of the foster parents.
• The male has returned and brought the food.
• 14:45:10 – The male arrived. Feeding, but it is unclear if there was any actual food. Water was regurgitated, but usually water is given separately (once a fish fell out with the water). This time, there was only one regurgitation.
• The bonus chick rushed to hide at first, but then it was the first to try and grab the parent's beak.
• 14:45:35 – The male flies away.
• 14:45 – The male departed. When he arrived, the Bonus chick initially ran to hide, but then it was the first one to try to grab the male's beak.

• 17:20:07 feeding
• 17:19 – Female arrived. Feeding (fish). All chicks ate, and the Bonus chick was active immediately. The female departed at 17:20:14.

• 17:34:04 feeding
• 17:33 – Male arrived. Feeding (fish). All four chicks ate successfully. The male departed at 17:34:16.

Observation: It is very positive that the resident chicks are accepting the new (Bonus) chick well, and the parents are treating it well too.

• There is new information from the ornithologist Urmas on the Looduskalender forum.

Muwizar:
The collapsed home nest of Bonus2 was not far of BS 4 webcam nest, about 45 km. It was huge old nest on pine tree. The biggest chick in the collapsed nest died, the second is injured from the collapse and the smallest behaved normally on the ground. The injured chick is now in a rehabilitation centre, and was examined by dr. Leivits before it was taken there. A concussion of the medulla oblongata is suspected (the lowest, stem-like part of the brainstem that connects the brain to the spinal cord). Therefore its behaviour is not fully normal, including feeding. In a nest this chick would soon be in hunger, because it eats much slower than normal chicks. According to Madis it could improve, but there's no guarantee. Time will tell. Madis is not working in the vet clinic any more, so he has not all vet possibilities like formerly.
The size of Bonus2 is a bit too small, compared to the home chicks in nest 4, but we had no choice. Here are too few nests with chicks and even less we can really feed additionally. According the chick's size, BS 2 webcam nest would be more suitable, but I can't be sure when those adults visit the fish basket. It is too much random to help in the right time. Plus infanticide happened just recently there, plus the camera is badly working...
Brain injury on Bonus 2 sibling, they hope for a recovery. Oldest sibling died from the fallen nest

Summary of Events – 20 June 2026 by @СветланаКлюева-н6у:

01:48 – 03:31 – Technical screen / stream offline.

07:08 – The Bonus chick (#4) had a normal, healthy bowel movement (PS).

07:10 – A pellet (regurgitated indigestible food) was noticed in the nest. The older chicks were seen nibbling on the toes of the Bonus chick.

10:22 – Female arrived. Feeding occurred, but the food item was not visible. The Bonus chick lay flat on the nest floor, and an older chick stepped directly on its beak. The Bonus chick managed to free its head only when the female dropped the food. It is highly likely the Bonus chick did not get any food. The female departed at 10:22:36.

11:55 – The Bonus chick had a very minimal bowel movement (only a tiny drop).

14:45 – Male arrived. Feeding attempt with water. Usually, water is regurgitated separately (sometimes with fish), but this time there was only a single regurgitation. The Bonus chick initially ran to hide, but then was the first to try to grab the male's bill. The male departed at 14:45:35.

15:06 – The chicks, including the Bonus chick (#4), are interacting peacefully.

17:19 – Female arrived. Feeding (fish). All chicks ate, and the Bonus chick was active immediately. The female departed at 17:20:14.

17:33 – Male arrived. Feeding (fish). All four chicks ate successfully. The male departed at 17:34:16.

Evening Observation: The Bonus chick is sitting slightly apart from the others and looks sleepy.
