"Today, about 800 meters from the Kergu nest, an open stork cafeteria branch was set up in a more open area, offering various fish products for young storks. However, whether they will start visiting it or find it before migration is not yet known. The figure and the camera are located right next to it. They were not spotted at Tootsi today.
Urmas also needs to adjust the settings of their transmitters. While they were at the nest, location data wasn’t that important, and the data point frequency was lower. Iksi has an older transmitter with replaced batteries. Previously, this GPS transmitter was worn by Karl I."

The updates to the Kergu chicks’ transmitters are pending and won’t change before tomorrow. However, today, we didn’t receive any transmitter data from either chick.

Vihm's transmitter responded and gave the location as Lithuania around 17:00 today. Yesterday, when it left the nest, Vihm started heading south.
Toots's transmitter was out of range at 17:03 today.

Iksi’s transmitter session time (interval) in the green zone, which is near the nest, is 172,800 seconds. And since the last transmission was at 12:06, the next session will only be on August 20 at 12 noon, because today Iksi was still in the nest zone during the transmission... So, if he went somewhere today and doesn’t return to the nest, we won’t hear from him until the day after tomorrow.
