Low bog south of Niederleierndorf:
The nature reserve is located in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim south of Niederleierndorf, a district of the Langquaid market.
On the northern and eastern edge of the area and east of it, the Alte Laber flows and the Great Laber to the north.
The approximately 62 ha area with the No. NSG-00212.01 was placed under nature protection in 1984.
