... in the middle of the forests at the northern edge of the vast Poněšické obora. There are 49 inhabitants. The cadastral area of the municipality is intervening in the Special Area of Conservation of Hluboká obora and the bird area of the same name (Natura 2000 area).
- The Poněšice game reserve specialises in deer breeding. The Schwarzenbergs bred deer imported from other countries of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and from Germany, as well as sika deer (lat. Cervus nippon) and Marmara deer (lat. Cervus elaphus maramuresensis) .
