15.26 FEEDING (6) Frogs again from Kaia. Everyone gets some small bites, Kaia eats back tyhe frogs fast.
15.29 Kaia regurgitates one last frog again, #2 gets it and eats it.


Hopefully Karl will bring something more suitable soon

16.7 FEEDING (7) Kaia definitelt had a surprise in store for us When it seemed during the last feeding that she offered most of her frogs, then now Kaia regurgitated a new big pile of frogs ( and possibly something else). #3 definitely gets some good mouthfuls. All eat good.

18.18 FEEDING (8) Karl offers a lot of fish. #1 and #2 swollow bigger fish, #3 finds something smaller, but enough.




Hmm..these fish look like they are from a fish basket...like the ones that Urmas uses for feeding storks..

19.40 Big hug!!

20.47 FEEDING (9) Karl offers his last fish, not very much of it. #1 and #2 start quickly eating, #3 is behind them and can't get tyo the food very fast. When #3 arrives, it takes a fish and at first struggles to get it right in the mouth, but next attempt succeeds- #3 eats too, but not as much as others. Older siblings are already stuffed.




22.17 Camera switched to night vision. It's now dark. Kaia didn't return to the nest tonight.


It is still warm enough so that the chicks don't need covering. They have been out most of the day.
