05.29 FEEDING (1) Small fish from Karl. All eat very good! The bigger ones swallow bigger fish, #3 manages to eat four smaller fish.

08.02 FEEDING (2) Kaia serves many frogs. #1 and #2 eat. #3 didn't manage to swallow anything this time.

11.02 KARL. Kaia talks to Karl, then walks around the nest, then leaves.
Kaia's nest duty was 3 h 8 min.
Karl stands in front of the sun to give shade to the chicks. They all seem to be still satisfied until now.
The chicks start twittering and move into feeding positions.
11.09 FEEDING (3) Kars offers small-medium sized fish. Bigger chicks grab and swallow bigger fish with no problem. #3 also manages to get a bigger fish down this time
All eat good!

It is a hot day for the storklets- they are uncovered most of the time, just sleeping.
13.08 #3 starts twittering while Karl is only arranging and fixing some moss on the nest edge...Karl takes it as a hunger signal, he starts to regurgitate.
13.09 FEEDING (4) Karl has only a few fish left. One of the older siblings swallows one fish, #3 finds a smaller piece and swallows it. Then #3 takes a big fish, older sibling steals it, #3 steals it back and tries to swallow it until he almost succeeds- some fish skin and tail is uncomfortably out from the mouth. Finally Karl pulls the fish out from #3's throat and eats it...

Karl immediately starts to rearrange some twigs...the kids are already starting to explore
14.04 Now the chicks are hungry. They are twittering and pecking moss. Karl hasn't got anything to offer anymore, so they all calm down and wait for Mama.

14.55 KAIA arrives...it was a modest and almost silent welcome. Karl leaves.
Karl's nest duty was 3 h 53 min.
Kaia starts to preen the kids, but the storklets are not asking for food right away...
A few minutes later they all wake up and start twittering.
15.01 FEEDING (5) Kaia serves fresh frogs again. Even #1 and #2 struggle to swallow whole frogs, they often drop them. Not to mention #3, but clever little one finds something smaller edible items from the nest floor. Kaia eats back the frogs. bThen Kaia regurgitates a second pile, the bigger ones eat again, #3 can't get a frog this time.
