10.49 Jan is standing in front of the sun, giving Janika some shade and preening her. What a gentleman!

11.18 Janika is already hot in the sun. (Today is about 15 degrees, no wind. And their black feathers absorb more heat)

11.30 Jan os taking care of the eggs- aerating, rolling.

11.43 Janika leaves. Jan is rolling the eggs and aerating. He continues to incubate.

12.33 Jan is hot too!

14.36 Jan is still taking care of the eggs and incubating, Janika has not returned yet. I hope she found a nice frof pool somewhere

Today was quite a pleasant and warm day, which we could observe as they cooled while sitting on the eggs breathing with an open beak.
