Our Kergu was so excited! I'm really happy for him that he is not completely alone the whole season.
Although I think that this female will maybe visit a couple more times, but they will not form a pair this late?

I hadn't answer

I only know of a pair from a nest in Sigulda (Latvia) years ago that met late in the season, and they often came to the nest and also mated. (Liz, who documented this nest for Dr. Strazds, was convinced it was a pair from the previous year).

It will probably be like this season in Ogre (Latvia), where the female often appears, but has never been on the nest yet.
