Karl, unlike Kaia, devotes a considerable part of care to the eggs, while Kaia, during a significantly shorter incubation than Karl, devotes more care to herself than to the eggs . I don't know if this is standard for all females or Kaia is different in this .

- as for incubation, it is generally true that females incubate at night (we also witness exceptions)
(e.g. this year on the Italian nest it was the female who took care of the eggs and the nest hole longer and more often, but she wasnt every night on the nest)

- each stork is unique, sometimes there are many familiar traits in their behaviour, sometimes it's the other way around

Interesting, I thought they had some general pattern of behavior, but basically it's individual.
So I wish Karl a lot of patience .

2. Kaia 9.48 - 18.30 ( 8 h 42 min )
taking care off the eggs - 9.57, 10.29, 11.19, 12.12, 12.50, 13.26, 14.01, 14.47, 15.31, 15.58, 16.43, 16.52, 17.23, 18.06

3. Karl 18.32 -
