Kergu made a longer trip to the south and has reached the Pripyat river and floodplains. This is probably his first stop-over place.

From
BELARUS: Birchuki (Бирчуки) - Pukhavichy District of Minsk Region
To
BELARUS: Namokrovo (Намакрава) - Luninets District of Brest Region
Distance: approx. 190 km
the name is derived from макрава = wet
Since ancient times and even up to the beginning of the 20th century there was a busy road from David-Garadok to Lahva and Mokrava. However, it was busy only in summer and winter, and during spring and autumn floods everything was covered with water. In summer, lush grasses as tall as a man's waist grew between the bushes of lakes. On the low hill, where the roads were hidden and there was a pavilion to Mokrava (locally called Namakrava), birches (высіліся бярозы ?) ,alders and aspens grew.
At the end of the XIX century these meats were taken over by melioration. In addition, according to Chadachka, the Kopanka canal and later the Cherabasau canal became the main canal.
