The first settlement of Ilıca village is the region where Ilıca water is located. The Iıca region, where nomadic tribes lived, was probably settled in the 1500s. There is a mound in the village that was a Roman settlement. Next to this ancient settlement, there is a fish pond that has survived from that period to the present day.

The river creates an interesting canyon here. (The canyon has a very suitable structure for walking, climbing and descending can be a bit difficult in the narrowest part of the canyon, where there are water pipes.)
