After spending the winter in Senegal and Mauritania, Marcela, one of our GPS-tracked Black Storks, is now back in Portugal!
At 3 years old, Marcela is behaving more and more like an adult black stork. Will Marcela try to breed this year for the first time?!

Marcela, the Black Stork, has started their 3rd migration and there is no time to waste!
In only 4 days, Marcela left the summer grounds in Portugal and crossed both (!) the Straight of Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains, flying over 300km each day, and only stopping at sunset!
How amazing is this?!
