This season has been such a rollercoaster with so many ups and downs. Happy moments and tragedies. And I think that we will see much more coming yet. Hopefully more happy moments...

I hope all the bad things that should have happened have already happened. Our orphans deserve a little luck.
The good mood left me today.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Adriana. I know you care so much about them. It's hard not to take these things personally :(
I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks to Madli. Yes, perhaps only a computer can not take it personally. One rejoices with every little progress they have made and then comes such a message :( . I just don't understand how he could have fallen from a height of 1 meter so hard that he broke his wing hard. The chick fall from a greater height and nothing happens to them. It's a mystery to me.

Nothing, life goes on.
Today, one of the two chicks from Jan and Janika, awaits the adventure. So far it looks good - the weather is perfect, on the nest of Karel and Kaia the young are still alone without their parents.:

According to the latest info - 22.47, we still have more than an hour before Urmas arrives at the nest.

It's already 11 minutes after midnight. Urmas should be there any minute.

Edit: from Urmas in LK forum 00.16 :
We have about one hour drive to Karula BS nest-site.

Dear Adria,
unfortunately I have to stop the observation for today :(
In my job, I can't afford to spend the night.
I am very much looking forward to your observations and videos if you can stay awake for so long.
Good night :)
