- in the LK forum there were informal suggestions for naming the trio of storks at the clinic (including the names Bonus, Plus and Extra), but regular voting did not take place
- some use the name PLUS for the chick in Eedi's nest (No1) and BONUS (No2) for the chick in the nest of Karl II and Kaia
- Urmas used the name Bonus2 for the storklet in Eedi's nest

No1 was introduced as a foster chick to the nest of Eedi, Karula NP (no public streaming, there is trail camera)

No2/named Bonus (ring number 7184) was introduced as a foster chick to the nest of Karl II and Kaia, Karula NP (streamed nest https://youtu.be/9JMRFPM5NIE)

Weight: 2,53 with the bag ( about -170 g) = approx. 2,3 kg
Bill: 12,7 cm
Wing: 43, 5 cm

* Bonus received the transmitter.
* Urmas: Bonus hasn't grown so much compared to the other chicks. It seems more thinner than the other older one.
* 1 leech was present- removed by Madis.

btw. I watched only some times - my impression: Bonus is often a little more away from the middle and still more concentrated on the floor only

I hope our Bonus is O.K. (our storklet behaviour was interesting - very atypical)

Regarding Bonus' weight - (On July 10th) Bonus 2 had apparently not gained enough weight either
About a week ago, Urmas wrote me:
"... We visited Eedis nest on July 10th and have ringed the native chicks there, also measured. In early morning June 30th that was not done because there was a risk to get noticed by the adults. I think we need to force extra feeding in Eedi's territory, as the weight of Bonus 2 did not increase as much as expected. So it is too early to speak about success of translocation of the orphaned chicks, yet. In Karl's nest it seems better, but we have no measurements yet. ..."
